It was a sad day for all at JFK on Aug. 29 when we had to say good-by to the children hosted from Ukraine. From the time they exited the air plane, the hosted children hit the ground running. They were interested in anything and everything. Nothing was insignificant or too small for their interests. They enjoyed every moment of every day. They all had a wonderful time in Florida where they experienced something new everyday. There were trips to beaches, Sea World, Disney, the Science Museum, and Animal Kingdom. Water World, Petting Zoos and numerous other outings were also on the agenda for the hosted kids. They all also enjoyed shopping at various malls and of course eating out where they got to try different foods. The movie theater was a real hit for all the hosted guests. They were experiencing all of these things for the first time in their life. It was also a wonderful experience for all of us to watch "God's special kids" first hand as they were exposed to so many different things and we could all share in their excitement and happiness.
We want to thank all of our sponsors and wonderful friends who made this trip possible. Without your help, the hosted children from Ukraine would not have had the experience of a life time. We are all looking forward to another great time this upcoming Holiday Season to do it all over again.
Thank you,
